Mindful Parenting

Being a parent is one of the most rewarding (and overwhelming) jobs in the world. From toddlers to teenagers (and every age in-between) we are posed with moments that bring us tremendous joy and moments that quickly challenge our patience and compassion. This class is designed to help parents navigate the journey of raising children through present-moment awareness and fostering a sense of wellbeing, compassion, and empathy for yourself and family. Together we’ll explore ways to address child behaviors, feelings, perceptions and worry through an understanding of the different stages of brain development and the significance of establishing routines and boundaries with compassionate and intentional responses that support your child’s emotional growth and wellbeing.
